  • How long will it take for my Ghost Lab Acoustics instrument to ship?

    The HyperNova takes approximately 6 - 8 weeks, as all purchases are made to order. Once your order is received, we purchase the raw materials to build your instrument, which can take an average of 4 weeks to receive. From there the building and tuning begins, ensuring you receive a Ghost Lab Acoustics instrument that is perfect.

    Lead times are estimates and may vary based on material availability and production flow. I will always communicate transparently and notify you of any changes to the posted shipping estimate.

  • What is the shipping cost?

    Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout and depend on the carrier and service you select. Available options include:
    • USPS® Ground Advantage™
    • UPS Ground
    • UPS 2nd Day Air

    All Ghost Lab Acoustics instruments ship fully insured for the full purchase value.

    All shipments require a signature upon delivery to protect against loss, theft, or misdelivery.

    We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses for instrument orders.

    Shipping is currently available only within the United States — international availability coming soon.

    For orders containing instruments, customers must retain all original packaging until delivery is fully accepted and the instrument is inspected. Packaging may be required for any carrier insurance claims.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    At this time, Ghost Lab Acoustics ships instruments within the United States only.
    This ensures fast delivery, clear tracking, full insurance coverage, and consistent quality control.

    International shipping (including Canada, Europe, Mexico, and overseas destinations) will be evaluated and may be added in the future.

  • What is your Shipping & Returns Policy?

  • Can I change, cancel, or return my order?

    Because every Ghost Lab Acoustics instrument is made-to-order and begins production immediately after payment:

    - All sales are final.

    - Orders cannot be canceled once placed.

    - Orders cannot be changed after they enter the production queue.

    - Returns are not accepted for made-to-order instruments.

    Once an order is placed, materials are reserved and your build position is locked into our production schedule, ensuring consistency, quality, and fairness for all customers.

  • Fraud Prevention Policy

    For fraud prevention, all orders must ship to the verified billing address unless otherwise approved by Ghost Lab Acoustics.

    Orders flagged by our payment processor may require additional verification.

  • What if my order arrives damaged?

    Please inspect the shipping box and instrument immediately upon delivery.

    If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@ghostlabacoustics.com with photos of:
    • The outside of the box
    • The inside packaging
    • Any visible damage to the instrument

    Please keep all original packaging. Carrier insurance claims require the original box, padding, and materials.

    Ghost Lab Acoustics will file the insurance claim on your behalf and guide you through the process.

    Once the claim is approved by the carrier, we will repair or replace the instrument as quickly as possible.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages? (After Delivery)

    Ghost Lab Acoustics is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after carrier-confirmed delivery.

  • Customer Responsible for Shipping to GLA on Warranty Work

    For warranty repairs, customers are responsible for shipping the instrument to Ghost Lab Acoustics. Outbound return shipping is covered by GLA.

  • Humidity & Temperature Requirements?

    Instruments must be maintained between 40–60% relative humidity and kept within a stable temperature range of 65–77°F (18–25°C). Exposure to extreme heat, cold, or rapid environmental changes can cause permanent damage and is not covered under warranty.

  • Setup Adjustments Are Normal

    Minor setup adjustments (such as action, intonation, or truss rod tweaks) may be required after shipping and are considered normal maintenance.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).

    We also accept PayPal for secure online checkout.

    For customers who prefer monthly payments, we offer Klarna, which provides simple and flexible financing options at checkout.

    Ghost Lab Acoustics never stores your payment information — all transactions are securely processed through our verified payment partners.

  • Do you offer setup requests?

    At this time, Ghost Lab Acoustics does not offer custom setup requests. Every instrument ships with a professional setup suitable for studio musicians, including optimized action, intonation, and neck relief. Minor adjustments based on personal preference may still be needed after delivery, which is normal for any high-end instrument.

  • Can I request custom modifications?

    At this time, Ghost Lab Acoustics does not offer custom modifications beyond the standard specifications. However, I welcome your input — as multiple customers request similar features, those ideas will help guide future model updates and product expansions. Your feedback directly shapes the next generation of Ghost Lab Acoustics instruments.

  • How can I date and/or ID my Ghost Lab Acoustics instrument?

    Date of Manufacture (DOM) will be written as month, day, and year. (i.e. DOM - 12/14/2021)

    Serial Numbers will start at P0001 for production models, and XP001 for experimental prototype models.

  • Do you sell Ghost Lab Acoustics instruments direct only?

    Yes! At this time Ghost Lab Acoustics instruments are only available from this website. If you see any Ghost Lab Acoustics instruments or merchandise from anywhere else, it is fake.
